March's most fashionable:Emma Watson

This March Emma Watson has graced the Oscars ceremony, posed at the red carpet premiere of Noah in Berlin, Madrid and New York, squeezed in a sitting with talk show host David Letterman, staged Twitter takeover for MTV and sat patiently during a separate Twitter Q&A. A lady of leisure this 23-year-old is not.

Throughout the press junkets, photo calls and premieres Watson has retained her reputation as an interesting one to watch in the style sphere (she wasn't asked to guest edit fashion glossy Wonderland back in January for no reason).

Sure she might play it safe with heartbreakingly beautiful dresses by Wes Gordon and Oscar de la Renta, but there is always a carefully calculated twist to her looks. Ear cuffs, which Watson started championing during the 2013 promo tour of The Bling Ring, continue to punctuate her outfits, while multiple silver rings creep up her fingers (the nails of which have been painted a don't-mess-with-me black).

Even the actress's airport looks have garnered nods of approval in Telegraph Towers. Where other actresses hide behind bumper shades and forgiving overcoats (who knows what's going on underneath?), Watson has given us satin skater skirts, chic knitwear, beige macs and many a polished brogue.

Lest not forget that the former Harry Potter starlet also remains a die hard fan of the jumpsuit; a tricky garment to execute but which suits her petite frame down to a T.
