Even more Isabel Marant for H&M: The complete mens and kids collections

Just because we’re still salivating over the Isabel Marant for H&M womenswear collection doesn’t mean we can’t pause for a second (maybe just one) to talk about her equally amazing collections for men and kids.

Her first collection for men! With prices ranging from $30 to $350,
men can look forward to chic tailored coats, heavily printed sweaters
and biker styled leather pants that will definitely add European meets
Americana flair to the wardrobe. Don’t mind us if we decide to make our
way over to the men’s section to grab a few oversized sweaters for
ourselves.

With kids in the front row
becoming a fashion week trend in and of itself, it comes as no surprise
to see that the kid’s collection would be just as lust worthy.
Continuing the same spirited aesthetics for half the price, the younger
and playful edit of the adult collection makes us quite nostalgic for
those younger days.

Low chignon tutorial: How to get holiday party-ready hair in less than 15 minutes

Our mission to make your holiday season as glam and effortless as possible continues, with the debut of a new holiday hair tutorial. The chignon is a classic hairstyle that has an infinite number of variations—once you master the basics behind it, it
ll be all chignons all the time. For our holiday party take on the look, Toronto-based hairstylist Margot Keith created a low chignon that looks as pretty as a perfectly wrapped present. This tutorial takes all the guesswork out of holiday hair and will get you from from prep to polished in less than 15 minutes—leaving you with enough time to pause for a pre-party under-the-mistletoe kiss or two.

1. If you have curly hair, great! If not, add some quick curls with a 1.5" curling iron. The texture will make it much easier to hold this holiday hairstyle in place and will add make any loose strands look that much better. If you have super-fine or freshly washed hair, youwill also want to spritz in some dry shampoo or texturizing powder—the grit makes your hair much easier to work with.

2. Part your hair slightly to one side and pull back the top section of hair, as though youare doing a half updo. Use a brush to smooth out any bumps and use a hair elastic to loosely secure this hair in a loop at the base of your neck. If you have short layers at the front of your hair, let them hang loose—you can twist and tuck them into place in the next step.

3. Now it'stime to pin your remaining hair in and around the loop. Taking two inch sections at a time, twist and pin into place, criss-crossing the hair over the loop to cover it up. Ensure you cover the hair elastic as you go—it actually serves as an excellent anchor for keeping bobby pins in place. There's no right way to this process, and as this is a slightly romantic hairstyle, any loose pieces of hair will only serve to soften the look.

4. Check your style in a mirror and make any necessary adjustments. A light-hold hairspray will keep this lo chignon in place all night long!

Top Spring 2014 Trends: 200 runway and street style photos of fashion month’s top 10 biggest moments

With the end of fashion week in Toronto marking the close of Spring 2014 show season, it’s time we looked back at all the trends that emerged. As much as the runway sets the pace for what’s to come for the top Spring 2014 trends, the streets play a major role as show-going trendsetters give us the relatable breakdown of how to wear what’s hot next season. Prints take two spots on our top Spring 2014 trends list through those with a painterly quality and those influenced by international cultures.

At Hérmes, Rousseau-inspired water lily florals were printed on luxurious fabrics while at Diane Von Furstenberg, dresses and skirts depicting an African wilderness roared. As for fashionable time travel, prepare to keep reminiscing about the youthful 1990s, which haven’t ceased to get reincarnated season after season. Designers like Rodarte, Balmain and Jason Wu have reinvented the decade’s essentials yet again. To help with your daydreaming of long sunny spring days we’ve compiled the ultimate gallery of top Spring 2014 trends as dictated by the runways and our favourite street style stars in New York, London, Milan, Paris and Toronto! Feel free to let this be your guide to budgeting and creating closet space for next season’s must have pieces.

The holiday season is here and your dose of beauty inspiration has
arrived in the nick of time! We don’t know about you, but for us,
getting glammed up is (more than) half the fun of any special event. In
that spirit, we’ve created three attention-grabbing holiday party makeup
looks that are just as much fun to create as they are to wear. We
combed both runways and red carpets to incorporate the best beauty
trends and hottest colour palettes for the season, so however you’re
celebrating, these holiday makeup tutorials will make sure you do so
with killer style.

Our first holiday makeup tutorial is a festive take on the ombré
trend. We’ll show you how to create gorgeous colour gradients in warm
shades of cranberry and plum on both your eyes and lips. While this look
is ultra pretty and feminine, the presence of double-thick false lashes
gives it more than a hint of sex appeal.

Next, we revisited the beautiful golden eyes seen at Dior’s Spring 2014 show
and kicked things up a notch with an infusion of violet shades. This
party-ready look is destined to become your go-to throughout this
holiday season, as it can easily be transformed with a simple switch.
Just keep the gold as your foundation and swap out the violet for any
other shade du jour! The best part? It will always match your outfit.

For the final holiday makeup tutorial, we’ve got your New Year’s Eve
look on lock. Taking inspiration from the sequinned silver eyes with a
flick of black liner at Chanel’s Fall 2013 show,
we dreamed up a look that is equal parts sparkly and smoky. The mix of
shining silver, smoked-out black and glittering gemstones is a perfect
for ringing in 2014.

Fashion trend: Coat

Fall’s abundance of oversized coats has us
following the motto: the bigger the better. Whether you prefer leather,
wool or fur, as temperatures drop the oversized coat is there to cater
to your layers.

Though the dropped shoulder coat is nothing new, the Fall 2013
runways reminded us all how much we love the androgynous style. After
months of light sundresses, Carven’s oversized topcoat almost makes us
excited for the cooler temperatures ahead (or at least for the fashions
that come with the seasonal change). Also promoting the trend was
Mugler, whose pastel dropped shoulder coat was positively futuristic and
Acne, whose leather version of the style reinforced our love for the
laid-back silhouette.

Max Mara, Salvatore Ferragamo and Paul and Joe had us shivering with
excitement with their furry take on the oversized coat. Altuzarra,
who’se clearly on a winning streak with his recent Woolmark prize,
offered a luxurious black and white fox-fur coat adding elegance to the
oversized look. Fur accents appeared in subtle ways as well, lining
oversized coats at Belstaff and Giambattista Valli and decorating hoods
at Prabal Gurung and Nina Ricci.

Advocators for printed versions of the trend include Rochas, whose
floral topcoat is the perfect summer-to-fall transition piece. Michael
Kors chose a black and blue camo print fur for his fresh take on the
oversized style, while the ever quirky Kenzo went with a unique eye
print for a coat in their Fall 2013 collection. Marc Jacobs tackled two
trends at once, presenting a dreamy plaid oversized coat, which oozed
androgynous glamour.

Bottega Veneta and Prabal Gurung took on the voluminous trend in
their own way, adding belts to oversized styles with angular shoulders
for a waist-cinching effect. The figure defining coats offer a more
feminine option for the oversized style.
